In 1972, Paolo Bolici set out to redefine Italian craftsmanship. He opened a small workshop in Nettuno, gathering Italy’s most skilled artisans to create interiors that blend tradition and quality.
Expansion & Innovation (1980s-1990s) – The Rise of an Industry Leader
From Boutique Workshop to Industrial Powerhouse.
The 1980s marked Bolici’s industrial leap. A new 20,000 sqm facility in Anzio fueled its expansion, allowing the company to pioneer high-end metal, aluminum, and joinery solutions, delivering bespoke projects across Italy

Partnership with Olivetti Synthesis
In the 1980s, Bolici became a key global partner of Olivetti Synthesis, a leader in innovative office design solutions. This collaboration combined Olivetti’s expertise in ergonomic and modern office furniture with Bolici’s manufacturing and turnkey contracting capabilities, reinforcing a shared commitment to excellence and workspace innovation.

Bolici's Global Expansion: From Rome to the World
Bolici’s international journey began with monobrand stores in Rome’s Piazza Navona, Athens, and Paris. Expansion quickly followed with the launch of Bolici Inc. in Miami, establishing a strong presence in the U.S. market and solidifying Bolici’s global outreach.

During Italy’s real estate downturn, Bolici identified new opportunities in marine interiors. Investing in cutting-edge technology and engineering, the company pivoted to high-end cruise ship interiors, securing large-scale projects that positioned Bolici as a leader in the luxury marine sector.

1992.
Launch of Bolici's Theme Park Division
Bolici expanded into entertainment and themed environments, forming a long-term partnership with EuroDisney. The company played a pivotal role in designing and manufacturing iconic spaces, reinforcing its expertise in immersive interior experiences.

1994.
New Manufacturing Site in Aprilia and Establishment of Bolici Holding.
Bolici acquired a state-of-the-art manufacturing site from TRAU Sud, one of Europe’s leading office furniture manufacturers. This milestone allowed Bolici to expand its reach, completing yearly 1,000+ post office ( Poste Italiane) Turnkey fit-outs across central and southern Italy and strengthening its presence in the banking sector.
1993.Growing Bigger.
Bolici became the main interior contractor for the prestigious Monte dei Paschi di Siena headquarters, the world’s oldest bank. The project’s innovative aluminum facade earned Bolici the Italian Architecture Award for Best Engineering Solution, highlighting the company’s advanced capabilities.
The Pinnacle of Success (1999-2010) – Italy’s Largest Interior Manufacturer
Bolici Becomes Italy’s Largest Manufacturer
By the late 1990s, Bolici had grown into Italy’s largest interior manufacturer, with a 244,000 sqm site in Puglia and 3,500+ professionals. This era marked our rise as a leader in marine, hospitality, and corporate interiors.

2000. New Yacht Division
Bolici expanded into luxury yacht interiors, partnering with Riva Yachts to deliver high-end custom interiors for Italy’s most prestigious shipyards. This division rapidly became a benchmark for excellence in marine craftsmanship and bespoke fit-outs.
2002. Diversifying into Innovation & Marine Engineering
Bolici Group expanded its portfolio into renewable energy and cutting-edge maritime engineering. The company launch one of Italy’s first carbon fiber yacht made with vacuum tec. further diversifying into hospitality, marinas, and luxury real estate with joint ventures in Oman and Montenegro.


2009.
Resilience and Growth: Bolici's Thriving Refurbishment Era
Amid a global downturn, Bolici strengthened its refitting division, leading major turnkey refurbishments on luxury cruise ships, including Costa Neoromantica, NCL Epic, MSC Preziosa, and MSC Divina. The company’s expertise in marine fit-out solutions continued to expand.
